The birthday cake! I wanted to make a cake for my daughter's birthday but wanted something simple but that looked fun.
I had made invites with bunting on, go here, and wanted to keep to a similar theme, so I came up with this colourful cake idea.
Two layers of chocolate cake and two of vanilla sponge. One layer of strawberry jam and the rest with colourful icing.
I love how it looks when it has been cut into!
