Hanmade hairband

I saw a picture of a hairband and thought I would give it a try for my daughter.
Check out the steps below to make your own simple hairband.

Darw and cut out two hair band shapes. Make sure its wider in the centre.

 Put the best sides together and sew the long edges together.

 Put a safety pin in one end

 and push through the centre of the fabric, you are turning the fabric the right way round

 Press it

 Fold the edges inwards and press again

 Get your elastic and put it into the hole

 Sew over the top alot

 Looks good!

 Do the same to the other end
